On December 14, the number of hospitalized patients was 73, which is the highest number since the pandemic broke out. On December 11, Jönköping County treated the second highest number of patients per 10,000 inhabitants. The region does not see a decrease in the spread of infection and is therefore in a continuous state of strengthening.
Kronoberg: Continuous increase in the number of confirmed covid cases. Great workload in municipal care and high staff absenteeism.
Kalmar: He finds that the capacity does not satisfy the need for large-scale testing. They report that the infection continues to spread and an overall increased need to admit patients to hospitals. There is concern that the need for hospital care will increase on weekends.
