Usually the delivery takes place in the inner courtyard, but with the pandemic it became a delivery with more wind than usual.

From the SLU students, Sofia and Carl Philip also receive two small fir trees, one for Prince Alexander and one for Prince Gabriel. The gift makes the princess think about the reception of the fir trees next year and indicates that things will change. So instead, it will be three little spruces that are applied. Before the prince and princess leave with their little trees in their arms, they warmly thank each other and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

It was on April 19, 2016, when Carl Philip and Sofia became parents for the first time. At 6:28 p.m. Prince Alexander was born. He was a 49 cm tall boy and weighed 3,595 grams.
