Kalmar only You can say that health personnel who have the right to leave will be able to remove it. Others have answered no or that it is still too early to say.

– We do everything we can to give our employees free time, but we have to go on vacation, says Lena Carlsson, director of the Region Västernorrland hospital.
In Västra Götaland and Stockholm, instead of responses from the regions, Ekot has received responses from emergency hospitals and hospital administrations in the regions. In both regions, everyone except one administration in Västra Götaland says they are concerned about the staff and no hospital or administration has responded that those entitled to vacation will be able to take it out.
– Every day you feel that it is difficult to gather staff, so it is clear that there is a concern, says Katarina Andersson, deputy director of the hospital for the administration of Hospitals in Väster.
When asked if they think they have enough staff to cope with the need for care today, only the Halland region and St. Göran Hospital in Stockholm answered yes. Others say they are not, or only partially, capable of meeting the need for care at this time.
