The house dispute between Ebba Busch and Esbjörn, 81, continues.
In response to the district court, Esbjörn announces through his representative that he is challenging the demands of the KD leader.
He also claims compensation for legal costs.
The high-profile feud between KD leader Ebba Busch and 81-year-old Esbjörn appears to be going to trial.
The dispute concerns a property Esbjörn sold to Busch in August, a sale that he says the next day he regretted and tried to cancel.
In late November, Busch submitted a lawsuit to the Uppsala District Court demanding his right to the house.
Now Esbjörn, 81, has responded through his legal representative.
In it, he disputes Busch’s claims and also wants compensation for future legal costs. The exact amount will be specified later.
The representative, Johann Billinge, further writes that the grounds, circumstances and evidence of the case will be presented. But the ombudsman requests a postponement until mid-January. According to the representative, Esbjörn finds it difficult to take advantage of the scope of what is happening now in the case, according to the defense.

The key question
Whether Esbjörn remembers the sale or not has been one of the key issues in the house dispute. The 81-year-old has said in interviews with Expressen that he has certain memory problems that cause him not to remember the exact circumstances. He has also said that he regretted it the next day and then tried variously to cancel the sale.
According to the defense before the district court, a case is currently underway to name a good man for Esbjörn.
“I intend to consult with him and together with him to consult with Esbjörn to be able to explain the reasons and more of his attitude,” writes legal representative Johann Billinge.
Declare me lawless
Ebba Busch said in an interview with Aftonbladet that there is no indication that Esbjörn regretted the sale. He has also said that he did not perceive it as having memory problems.
– After we signed the purchase contract, I perceived Esbjörn satisfied and satisfied with the sale. We also had contact several times in the following weeks. My image is that it has changed after strong pressure from others. That image has been reinforced by everything he’s been through during the fall, he told Aftonbladet in November.
He added that he has received threatening calls to refrain from leaving the house, otherwise a smear campaign will be launched in the media.
– I find it difficult to see that I have to declare myself an outlaw and back down because you think you can say completely false things about me in the national press, he said.
Aftonbladet has been in contact with ombud Johann Binninge. He says there is not much more to comment on than what is claimed in the defense.
