Four Hercules planes from the Skaraborg air flotilla will give Gothenburg a little Christmas vibe at 11.30am on Wednesday morning. Then the plane will fly in formation like a Christmas ball over Gothenburg. The plan starts at 11am Såtenäs and then flies over several cities like Vänersborg, Helsingborg, Falköping, to name just a few.
It is the second time they have flown in formation like this, the last time was 2018.
A week ago, several Jas planes made a quick trip over Gothenburg in the form of the annual Christmas tree flight.
It is unclear whether the plan will be visible due to the heavy fog that has spread over Gothenburg.
– The fog over Gothenburg can make up for it, so you won’t be able to see us, says Lena Bogren, communications manager for Skaraborg’s air flotilla.
– The fog will not disappear anytime soon, says SMHI meteorologist Linus Karlsson.
