Employees of the Swedish Social Security Agency in Gävle bet how many people would die from the coronavirus.
According to information from Gefle Dagblad, the “winner” of the contest will receive the money from the companions.

Area manager Eva Alner Liljedahl found out about the whole matter in early December and called a meeting immediately, the newspaper writes.

The newspaper writes that a unit manager in the office must have known about the bet, but did not decide to act.

According to her, a multi-month training is now expected in the office on the basis of values for government employees.
