A man in his 50s in Fredriksstad, Norway, is charged with illegal possession of a weapon. The man was arrested during a raid in February, when police found explosives, weapons, mines and ammunition in unlocked boxes at a warehouse.

Gunnar Sønsteby, also known as “Agent 24”, was a leader of the Norwegian resistance movement during the Nazi occupation. He also enlisted in the sabotage operations of the British Special Forces SOE.

His k-track reached the Defense Museum, from where it was later stolen. The defendant is also accused of receiving.

According to the Fredriksstad Blad newspaper, the intervention could be done after a tip.

“The articles were available to all co-workers. Also, the objects could have been missing in a robbery. . . or it exploded in a fire and therefore posed a danger to the surrounding area, “the indictment states.
