The president wrote on Twitter that he had just had a “nice meeting” with Barr at the White House.
“Our relationship has been very good, he has done an outstanding job,” he writes and continues:
“Bill will leave just before Christmas to spend the holidays with his family.”

Barr confirms in a letter to Trump, which has been informed by the Reuters news agency, that he will leave the job on December 23. At the same time, he affirms that the Justice Ministry will continue to investigate allegations of electoral fraud and praises the president’s “record”. Barr writes that Trump has strengthened the economy, the military and has curbed “illegal immigration.”
Trump’s relationship a Barr has been tense recently, even when the Minister of Justice in an interview with the AP news agency recently stated that no evidence of electoral fraud could be demonstrated in the November presidential election, TT claims.
Trump has stubbornly asserted, but without proof, that the November elections, in which Democrat Joe Biden won, were “rigged.”
