Behrang Safari did not rest on its laurels: the promise to play for Lund’s SK 2021 is now officially confirmed.

When Berhang Safari participated in the MFF podcast earlier this fall, he gave a first hint that he wanted to play a match with Lund SK next year. When Sydsvenskan asked directly in relation to their MFF farewell interview the day after the last Allsvenskan match, Behrang Safari replied:
– There will be matches at Lunds SK. I want to go there and play to feel the joy of football that was taken from me this season. I want to withdraw it. Hopefully soon in Smörlyckan. Although there is artificial grass, it is not good. I will train with them this winter. I still love to play soccer. I have not been allowed to do that this season and I want to go back there.
Now Behrang Safari has already donned his new jersey, which means he will play for the mother club in division 5 next year.
