Police see the risk of a new type of crime related to the upcoming mass vaccination against covid-19, reports Swedish radio Ekot.
These include vaccines that are stolen and according to the police, these types of crimes have already been committed in several European countries.
– There is a risk that you may also falsify the vaccination certificates. This means that you may be able to travel sooner than you would have thought if you had access to such a certificate, says Per Engström at the Ekot Police Authority.
Previously, police warned that people can try to charge for the vaccination, which should be free. Earlier during the pandemic, scammers, among other things, tried to charge for tracking infections, or in phone conversations told people to identify themselves with a bank ID so they could receive information about their health status.
