Disney is investing heavily in “Star Wars” and Marvel

Disney will launch 35 titles to Disney plus starting next year, the company announces according to various media.

It consists of ten “Star Wars” series, ten based on the Marvel comic universe and 15 from Disney and Pixar.

As for “Star Wars,” the “Andor” series will premiere in 2022, which will take place before the movie “Rogue one,” according to Variety. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will reprise their roles in “Obi Wan Kenobi,” which will begin filming in March next year.

Jenkins is making a movie

Two series will be animated, “Star wars: The bad batch” and “A history of droids”, as well as the short film anthology “Star wars: Visions”. The others are the spinoff series “The Rangers of the New Republic”, “Ahsoka”, “Lando” and “The Acolyte”.

The latest series to take place in a distant galaxy is “The Mandalorian,” which returns for a third season.

He’s been relatively quiet about the new movies in the “Star Wars” series. But now Disney president Robert Iger says director Patty Jenkins (“Wonder Woman”) will make a movie called “Rogue Squadron.” Jenkins says in one videos who has long had the ambition to make the best fighter pilot movie ever.

– I could never find the correct story, I kept searching and searching but couldn’t find the correct one. Until now, she says.

Does not replace Boseman

As for the Marvel series, most are, like “Wandavision” and were previously featured. Heroes Ms Marvel, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk and Nick Fury will also get their own series.

“Falcon & the Winter Soldier” will premiere on March 19 and “Loki” will appear in May, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige says he will not replace the late Chadwick Boseman in the role of “Black Panther.” Despite this, a sequel to the film is in the works, which will be released in July 2022.
