Timrå achieved its 14th consecutive victory in allsvenskan hockey on Wednesday night and thus set the allsvenskan hockey record.
But the consequences would be a dispute between the booths of the two substitutes, a dispute that makes the captain of Karlskoga’s team boil in the interview with C More after the game.
– Lööke stands up and makes fun of our entire stand. They lead 5-1. Okay, we’re picky and we play ugly and everything but standing and taunting our booth like that when they lead 5-1, it’s very unworthy, says Eriksson.
Mikael Eriksson is furious after the game
The situation happened just seconds from the end of the game and led Eriksson to advance against the Timrås dugout, causing a clash between several players.
– I tell him (Jens Lööke) that “let’s go, we will settle here”. But once he has a chance, he doesn’t defend himself. But standing up and making fun of our entire booth like that, I don’t accept it, says Mikael Eriksson.
C More: What do you think of what happened here tonight?
– I’m having such a hard time … I’m so fucking pissed off about it.
Timrå claimed the 14th consecutive victory
It was Björklöven who started out beating all rivals in allsvenskan hockey, but it is Timrå who has taken over in the series with his long winning streak.
Two goals from Jacob Blomqvist and one from Jens Lööke made it 3-0 against Karlskoga after the first half and at the beginning of the second Lööke also became a two-goal.
The result was finally 5-1 after Per Svensson punctured the match on a fast break and Timrå leads the series three points ahead of Björklöven, who also has two most played matches.
BIK Karlskoga is fourth in the table.
