Federley, who is the second vice chairman of the Center Party and a member of the European Parliament, is currently on sick leave after it emerged this week that a man close to Federley in 2014 was sentenced to a lengthy prison term for, among other things, various aggravated rapes of children.

Last week, the leadership of the Center Party received a letter from people who have known Fredrick Federley for a long time.

Information on Anonymous Riot Reports

From the letter, which SVT has read, and from the additional information also received by the Directorate of the Center, it appears that Federley already in June of this year knew that the convicted person was in prison for a serious crime and that Federley found it difficult have a lasting relationship with him. Additional information SVT has received shows that Federley also knew that the verdict was on child abuse.

The management of the center has also received information that an anonymous complaint of concern has been filed against Federley and that Federley in relation to this has indicated that his contacts in the Security Police can find out who the complaint comes from, something that according to the editors of the letter was perceived as threatening.

C will announce it tomorrow

The Center Party leadership said last week that it had received information about the verdict against Federley’s relatives in late November, that the story had damaged confidence in Federley, but at the same time it was too early to say anything about his future in the Center Party.

SVT has sought out party leader Annie Lööf and party secretary Michael Arthursson for comment on the letter since last Friday, but they have refused over the weekend. Today, the party’s press service responds to SVT Nyheter that tomorrow Wednesday we will receive an answer to the question of how the party should act.

We have also searched for Fredrick Federley, but without success. Last week, he replied in a text message that he was on sick leave and could not bear an interview.
