Prince Christian of Denmark is infected with a crown, the Danish court announced in a statement on its website. The 15-year-old prince is said to have been infected at his school.
Prince Christian is the eldest son of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary and is number two in the Danish succession.
According to the statement, the crown prince and crown princess were attracted by an outbreak of infection at the Hellerup school, north of Copenhagen, where Prince Christian attends. It was tested shortly after. Apart from the Crown Prince’s family, the prince must not have had any contact with any other member of the Danish royal family.
The entire family of the Crown Prince has now been isolated in their home at the Amalienborg royal residence in Copenhagen.
