But the number of the song “Wonder”, which Shawn Mendes appeared in the video, was not created for “Idol”. On YouTube you can see that it was recorded specifically for British GQ, during their “GQ Men of the year awards” gala. Something that was transmitted digitally more than a week ago and is available for everyone to see on YouTube. The gala has about 180,000 visits there.

When Aftonbladet asks TV4 why they have chosen to call Shawn Mende’s performance “exclusive”, he replies Malin Knave, executive producer of “Idol” in a text message:
“It was a performance that ‘Idol’ was allowed to broadcast exclusively in Sweden.”
