Lillemor, 74, in the clothes she was wearing when she disappeared

Lillemor, 74, has disappeared without a trace after shopping at Coop in Timrå.

Now a massive search is underway with the National Guard, Missing Persons, the mountain rescue and the police.

– Anyone who sees her should call 112, says Elisabeth Glaas, press spokeswoman for the police.

Lillemor, 74, has been missing for more than a day. At 5pm yesterday, I was shopping at Coop in central Timrå, north of Sundsvall. Since then, it has disappeared without a trace.

A huge search effort was launched and has grown throughout Friday.

– We constantly search with various resources together with Missing Persons, the National Guard and the mountain rescue. As always, when a person goes missing, it is of the utmost importance that we find them as soon as possible, says Elisabeth Glaas, spokeswoman for the North Police Region.

Comes out with a photo

The police work with mapping and gathering information from Lillemor’s relatives and close circle. Mountain rescue searches on roads, trails and in the field.

During Friday afternoon and night, the National Guard will continue the search operation.

– You can have them then enter private land and plots, which the public should know about, he says.

During the afternoon, the police came out with a new photo in search. The photo was taken just before the disappearance.

Lillemor is 155 centimeters tall, has a long, narrow physique, and wears glasses. When he disappeared, he was wearing a yellow jacket, black pants, a black hat, and brown boots. He has a good physique and walks without obstacles.

Police: look in your warehouses

The police are very interested in receiving information from the public.

– It is incredibly valuable that we receive help from, for example, missing persons and other actors. But we also need the help of the public. Anyone making an emergency observation and possibly seeing the woman should call 112. If you have another observation or information that is not urgent, you should call the police at 114 14, says Elisabeth Glaas.

The public is also urged to check their spaces to make sure you are not there.

– It can be warehouses, playhouses, greenhouses or other spaces on the plot that you may not look at every day, says Elisabeth Glaas.

Police currently do not suspect any crime behind the disappearance.
