The vaccine can be approved before the New Year

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is expected to make the first decision on the approval of the corona virus vaccine on December 29.

“We worked hard to get a decision made then,” Charlotta Bergquist of the Medical Products Agency, who is involved in the vaccine review, tells Ekot.

As soon as the corona vaccine arrives in Sweden, it is the responsibility of the Public Health Agency to transport the doses of the vaccine to the regions. Transports must be ready after Christmas and New Years weekend.

Mass hunger can wait in North Korea

North Korea is threatened by famine.

Food prices have risen so dramatically in recent weeks that the price of a kilogram of rice exceeds the average monthly salary of government employees, Express reports.

There is already a major shortage of many foods in the country due to Kim Jong-Un’s decision to close the border with China earlier in the year.
