How did the coronavirus spread around the world?

On New Year’s Eve last year, the first warning came from Beijing, which reported a new type of lung disease.

Since then, new tests have indicated that the virus has been present in places like Italy as early as September 2019.

On January 9 of this year, the message came from China. The country was plagued with a mysterious lung disease that appeared to stem from a new coronavirus. Two days later, they came out with the world’s first crown-related death, a man who worked in the infamous Wuhan market.

Now it turns out that already on September 3 blood samples with antibodies to the virus were found in the Italian region of Veneto. In November, there were traces of the new corona virus in the sewers of southern Brazil. Antibodies were found in blood samples from various US states in mid-December, not to mention the Frenchman who coughed up blood from what is believed to be covid-19 on December 27, 2019, two days before China mentioned the “new mystery pneumonia” for the first time.

Here are all the first crown falls

A list compiled by the British Daily Mail presents all the first cases that turned out to be corona even before the official cases were confirmed:

September 3, 2019 in Veneto, Italy. The first blood sample was taken and later found to contain antibodies against the coronavirus. In the following days, more cases appeared in different parts of Italy, including Emilia Romagna, Liguria and Lombardy, which would become the epicenter of the coronavirus in the spring of 2020. It was not until more than five months later that Italy would announce its first official crown case.

November 27 in Santa Catalina, Brazil. Analysis of human feces showed traces of the new coronavirus. Four months later, the first official case of the disease arrived in Brazil.

December 17 in the United States. A new study from the American Institute for Infectious Disease Control shows that antibodies were already found in blood samples from California, Oregon and Washington on December 17. Blood samples taken the following weeks in Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island and Wisconsin also contained antibodies. The United States came out with its first crown drop on January 21.

December 28 in Kent, UK. 84-year-old Peter Attwood showed what are now known as corona symptoms. On January 30 he died in the hospital. Later, the death was counted as related to the crown. The next day, January 31, the country reported its first crown drop.
