Anna Swenn-Larsson and the rest of the Swedish slalom ladies missed the world cup premiere in Finland two weeks ago after a leader tested positive for the new corona virus.
The entire Swedish team was quarantined, but none of the cyclists were infected.
Now, however, he has the runner-up in the world Swenn-Larsson, the name of the largest Alpine national team poster, left a positive corona test.
Following the homemade art of chaos in Finland, the 29-year-old has been to Åre. There he first left a negative test, the Ski Association writes in a press release, but on Wednesday he had to open the door on his way to an upcoming training ground in Cervinia, Italy.
– It is a little difficult to assimilate, I really cannot see when I have been infected, I have been more or less isolated or I have been at a suitable distance from the people I have known, says Anna Swenn-Larsson in a statement.
She is asymptomatic.
– I am happy and grateful for that and I hope I can continue like this. It is clearly worse for everyone who gets seriously ill in this pandemic, hopefully this is something that can happen quite quickly.
The next World Cup competition for Swenn-Larsson, the slalom competition in Austrian Semmering, only from 28 to 29 December.
– Yes, if we look at it that way, the opportunity may be good. There may be time to recover, he says.
– In this situation, it is difficult to look to the future, first of all I must improve and test negative before I can do something.
