Social Democrats are furious and moderates are rising in Statistics Sweden’s latest party sympathy poll.

Liberals finish below the four percent barrier and would leave the Riksdag if there were elections today.

– These are bad numbers and a very difficult situation for our party, says Juno Blom, party secretary for the Liberals.

Social Democrats see a sharp drop in voters of 4.3 percentage points in Statistics Sweden’s party sympathy poll, released today. 29.4 percent of those polled would vote for the party if there were elections today. In the last survey in May, the corresponding proportion was 33.7 percent.

Must give notice on the matter of government.

Liberals continue to lose support from voters. If there were elections today, the party with a support of 3 percent would not pass the parliamentary bloc but would leave.

– They are bad numbers and a very tough situation for our party. We have had low public opinion since the formation of the government. Restoring the confidence of liberal and bourgeois voters takes time. Only by being clear and having solutions to people’s problems can we raise public opinion, writes the party’s secretary, Juno Blom, in a text message.

The party must also be clear about the government issue, he says:

– We understand that the Liberals must announce in time before the next elections who we want to see as Prime Minister.

The Green Party is also fighting to stay in the Riksdag, but remains just above the barrier with 4.2 percent support. In both parts, however, the changes are too small to be statistically significant.

M keeps increasing

For moderates, the poll is a more edifying read. The party increases its voter support for the third time in a row and receives support of 22.1 percent. M is the party that increased the most by 2 percentage points in the November poll.

The Left Party is also said to be happy with the poll. The party would get 9.3 percent of the vote if there were elections today, which represents an increase compared to the result of the 2018 elections and the last poll in May.

SD remains in the election result

The Center Party has been raising public opinion since the last poll in May, with 7.6 percent. But the party is still one percentage point below the 2018 election results.

Christian Democrats lose one percentage point in the poll, from 6.4 to 5.4 percent.

Sweden’s Democrats, who had a big drop in the May poll, increase their support marginally, by 0.5 percentage points. With 17.6 percent of voter support, the party remains around the result it obtained in the 2018 elections. However, the change is not statistically significant.

The proportion of insecure voters is about 14 percent.

A total of 9.73 randomly selected people were included in the survey and a total of 4,692 of them responded, representing a response rate of 51.2 percent.
