William Barr is President Donald Trump’s Attorney General. Now Barr says that no evidence of the massive electoral fraud that his boss insisted on claiming after the Nov.3 election has been proven.

– So far, we have not seen cheating on a scale that may have led to a different result in the elections, says Barr in an interview with the AP news agency.

After the election, which he lost to Democrat Joe Biden, Trump persisted, and without presenting any evidence, with numerous outbursts on Twitter, interviews and other forums that the loss was due to large-scale voter fraud.

In several states, the president’s campaign also sought to overturn or delay election results through a large number of lawsuits and court filings.

William Barr also put the FBI and federal prosecutors to work to investigate, which is usually a matter for the states.

The move was controversial. Just hours after Barr’s initiative became known, the official of his own Ministry of Justice resigned, who is the one most responsible for investigating crimes related to the elections in protest against the minister’s directive.

So now Barr says nothing on a large scale has been found after the cheating allegations.

– He has been followed up, he says.

Trump recently allowed his administration to begin handing over power to Biden, but he has yet to declare himself defeated.
