Sweden finished the European Championship away tie against Slovakia.

Then SVT ran into technical problems twice and among other things, the spectators missed Jonna Andersson’s first goal for the national team 4-0.

– It was a bit of a bad moment …, says the scorer.

Sweden is now ready for the European Championship after a strong qualification in which Blågult remained undefeated.

Tonight, the national team finished qualifying with an away game against Slovakia.

With the score 0-0 and just over five minutes into the game, SVT lost Slovakia’s signal for about five minutes.

– There is nothing we can influence. It’s frustrating, says commentator Chris Härenstam at SVT.

Instead of the match, SVT showed an old interview with Magdalena Eriksson and talked about other key players for old clips.

When the channel finally recovered the signal, the position in the match was still 0-0.

But the Swedish goals came, the first after just over 20 minutes.

The team could go into the break with a 3-0 lead, this after three fixed situations. First a corner from the left and Kosovar Asllani’s foot through the second ball that Filippa Angeldahl cut.

The second goal was also the result of a corner from the left. This time it was Linda Sembrant who took advantage of a ball that the Slovak defense could not clear.

The third goal came after a strange situation. Asllani took a free kick and Slovakian goalkeeper Maria Korenčiová went completely wrong and was left flat after a collision with her own player. The game continued and Fridolina Rolfö took advantage and made it 3-0.

The Swedish team captain, Caroline Seger, also missed a penalty in the first half.

When the match began in the second half, technical problems continued and the spectators failed when Jonna Andersson made it 4-0. However, Rebecka Blomqvist made a spectacular save and Andersson was shown the yellow card in 61 for a hard tackle at ground level.

– This is the transmission of surprises, says Chris Härenstam of SVT when the goal suddenly appeared on a replay.

Jonna Andersson was told after the game that viewers missed their first live national team goal.

– I just heard on the TV broadcast that it was interrupted. It was a bit of a bad timing … I got a backlash from Stina (Blackstenius) and hit the outside, half volley. I think it is very slow, so I have time to see it long before it is lost, says the scorer.

Sweden won the match 6-0 after Angeldahl’s second goal.
