Folketrygdfondet, the largest shareholder in the Norwegian real estate company Entra, does not want to accept offers from either Castellum or SBB, enter both E24 and Di.
“We have thoroughly examined both Entra offers, but we do not support either of them,” Folketrygdfondet share manager Nils Bastiansen says in a statement.
According to Bastiansen, this is because Entra is considered to have value creation potential and attractive projects in Norway that are not reflected in the offers.
“As the largest owner, Folketrygdfondet will continue to work to realize the full value-creating potential of the company through our ownership exercise,” Bastiansen said.
Folketrygdfondet owns 11.76 percent of the Entra shares.
SBB has established as one of its conditions that the Entra offer receives a 90 percent acceptance. Therefore, this may be difficult to fulfill in terms of Folketrygdfondet’s position.
