A woman in her 50s was found dead in a house in Åstorp in Skåne at 1pm on Saturday. The woman was found by a private individual who sounded the alarm, police write on their website.
– The existing circumstances make us suspect that the crime may be behind it. We have cordoned off the site and will conduct a technical investigation, says Jimmy Modin, Police Region South press spokesman.
Police are working to listen to residents of the area. The case is initially classified as murder.
