Before long, three women who had been out walking dogs have been beaten without provocation. All the attacks have taken place in the same area with the same focus on Stenungsund.
– These are unpleasant events and we take them very seriously, says Fredrik Svedemyr, press spokesman for the police.
The first attack took place at 9:35 p.m. on October 17. A 45-year-old woman had been out walking her dog in the center of Stenungsund when three men in their 20s jumped on her from behind and threw her into a bush. There he is kicked before the perpetrators disappear from the scene.
– The woman was attacked from behind and has not been able to give any signal, says Peter Adlersson, a police spokesman for the NyheterSTO.se news site.
A month later, the second attack takes place in Stenungsund at 5:40 p.m. A woman in her 40s who is resting her dog is run over by two men who disappear laughing from the scene.
– Last Friday night, around 10 pm, the third attack took place, against a woman in her 40s, who was also with the dog, says Fredrik Svedemyr, press spokesman for the police.

Various kicks and punches
The woman receives several blows and kicks an unknown number of people. After the assault, he receives help at a nearby house to sound the alarm.
– The woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital, but does not have serious physical injuries. But of course you have injuries other than physical ones, events like this leave traces, says Fredrik Svedemyr.
Police still have no suspects for the three attacks that have occurred, but say they appear to be the same circumstances, indicating the same perpetrators. In all cases, a complaint of abuse has been made.
– This is absolutely very unpleasant and unpleasant. All the attacks are also completely unprovoked and there have been no online thefts. We take this very seriously, says Fredrik Svedemyr.
Started joint dog walks
Malin Gustavsson and Linda Björkman have taken the initiative to conduct joint dog walks in the residential area where the attacks occurred. At most, there have been 13 people on the walks.
– It’s too much what happened. After the second attack, we decided it was time to do something. Now we see each other at 6pm every night and we go together and we have received a very positive response, says Malin Gustavsson.
– It is disgusting to give in to single women with dogs. I hope the police catch them. But now that we’re going together, at least we feel safe, says Linda Björkman.
