Malmö police and forensic technicians are investigating the alleged murder in southern Malmö.
A man has been found dead in an apartment in southern Malmö, announce the police, who have arrested one person.
“There is a relationship between the parties before. The case is listed as murder. The relatives have not yet been notified,” the police write on their website.
The police learned of the incident at 04.17. The timing of the alleged murder is unclear.
“We have chosen to keep to ourselves the gender of the detainee and the ages of those affected,” police spokeswoman Evelina Olsson told TT.
The police often initially classify deaths as suspected murder because it provides more investigative resources, although it is quite obvious that there is another cause of death.
– This is not the case here, says Evelina Olsson.
On Saturday, police gathered information by knocking on doors in the residential area.
