Despite the fact that hospitals are in personal mode and that the infection is increasing with each passing day, he did not stop finding shopping customers during Black Friday.
Nurse Charlotte encountered a sad sight while passing through the mall in Nordstan.
– I was thinking of helping.
Today is Black Friday, which is the beginning of the most intense trading period in Sweden. Despite the corona pandemic and the strict advice of the Swedish Public Health Agency and the government, many went shopping.
When Nurse Charlotte passed by the Nordstan shopping center in Gothenburg, she was shocked.

In Nordstan, in Gothenburg, people were packed.
– It was full of people everywhere, there were so many people and there was no chance they could maintain a proper crown distance, she says.
Despite the fact that many stores had queuing systems, people were jammed in the rest of the mall, Charlotte says.
– Help, I thought. It was very sad to see that there were so many people. It was not directly more than 70 people who went shopping, but mostly young people.
She says she sincerely hopes these young people don’t go home and meet their grandparents.

After the congestion in Nordstan in Gothenburg, Nurse Charlotte warns that the care staff is not enough.
“Sad to see”
– There is a very high risk of becoming infected in that environment. It is sad to be exposed, both to get infected and to spread the infection.
Charlotte, who works as a nurse in both a regular health center and with corona infections, says that medical care is currently under enormous pressure.
– We’re not enough, we don’t have time. We don’t even have the resources to care for the ones we have today. Those who were at the mall could be all of our patients or their family and friends.
At the same time, he believes that both the Swedish Public Health Agency and Stefan Löfven have given enough warning and that it should be everyone’s business.
– I understand that you are attracted to doing business. But we, as citizens, have our own responsibility. I don’t think Black Friday was particularly suitable for this year. If people behave like this, we will have to live with the virus for a long time.
