A 61-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman have died after the Hässleholm traffic accident.
Three cars collided head-on with a truck.
The truck driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and causing the death of another person.
Two people have died in a serious traffic accident in Hässleholm.
Police were alerted just before 5 p.m. on Highway 117 in Vankiva after publicly observing a truck with a wobbling trailer.
As police headed to the scene, there were further alarms that a truck had collided head-on with three cars. It is still unknown if the two alarms touched the same truck.

Three people were initially said to have been injured in the accident. Police announced shortly before midnight that two of them, a 61-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, had died as a result of their injuries. Family members are notified.
