It was in the 86th minute that Patrik Wålemark collapsed in the penalty area in a duel with Jakob Johansson. BK Häcken’s coach Andreas Alm believes it was a penalty.
– Now I looked it up and Jonas Eriksson was on the link. He said it was a punishment and I think it was a punishment. The referee had a difficult position, so you may wonder what the assistant did. It would have been a punishment if the judge had seen it. How bitter it sounded now. But it was a difficult situation to see, says Andreas Alm.
BK Häcken’s offensive lead runner Ahmed Yasin is disappointed that referee Kristoffer Karlsson did not miss.
– It’s a 100 percent punishment. I do not understand why he did not dare to blow there. He was solid as a rock and said “no, no, no, keep playing.” He should have checked with the linesman if he had seen anything, Yasin says.
He thinks they were better than Blåvitt in the second half.
– We were looking for three points more than in others, he says.
He had many duels with Sebastian Eriksson.
– We said we would press on its edge. I had it in my back pocket, says Ahmed Yasin.
He was not impressed by Gamla Ullevi’s rug.
– We play almost the best soccer in Sweden. Today we could not play the football that we are used to. He may have adapted a bit more to the old ones, he says, referring to the older IFK Gothenburg players.
BK Häcken is still in fourth place and still chasing third place, which is the last European place.
– The chance decreased a bit this round. But it is narrow. It will not be decided until the final round. There will be some excitement at the end, says Andreas Alm.
