On the route in question, there is a speed limit of 90 kilometers per hour.

Copenhagen Police Michael Andersen cannot recall that this speed was measured during a speed check, which the Danish Ekstra-Bladet describes as “Formula 1 speed”.

– In any case, I have not heard that recently we had taken someone at a higher speed, he tells the newspaper.

The car was from the Mercedes AMG brand, a specially made Mercedes whose engine has an extra high performance. The driver was on his way from Sweden to Denmark and followed the instructions of the police when they told him to pull away. According to BT, the Swedish driver must have borrowed the car from his father.

– He immediately lost the right to drive a car to Denmark due to high speed, says Michael Andersen.

However, the Danish police could not seize the car because it was registered in Sweden. On the way home to Sweden, another person was sitting in the driver’s seat.

In connection with the speed control of the Danish police on Friday night, a person who was driving at 205 kilometers per hour on the same stretch was also arrested. A total of 15 people were fined.
