Lars Norén’s diary is withdrawn

The reason is that the book contains a piece in which the author incorrectly states that actress Paula Brandt suffers from dementia. The error is said to be based on a confusion in which Norén mistook Brandt for another woman.

“In my last diary, there is a statement about actress Paula Brandt that is grossly incorrect. What is written there does not correspond to reality, “says Lars Norén according to a press release from the publisher.

In his statement, he also apologizes.

“It just came to our knowledge then since for a long time I have had a loving relationship with his family. I apologize for the damage and pain that has been caused and I will do my best to correct it, ”he says.

Thérèse Cederblad, communications manager for Albert Bonnier’s proposal, says they received information about the error Friday night.

– In this case, it is a confusion that Lars himself has made, not the publisher, he says.

How do you work with data verification?

– Exactly how the review and fact-checking is going, I cannot answer at the moment, says Thérèse Cederblad.

The publisher has stopped selling and recalled all the copies of the book that are on the market, but they don’t know exactly how many copies of the book have been sold.

– This type of book has a fairly low first edition, of about a thousand copies, says Thérèse Cederblad.

Now the publisher will print a tight edition shortly. “The diary of a playwright 2015-2019” is the fourth published newspaper in Norén.

DN has requested Lars Norén.
