BRUKSVALLARNA. Favorites Linn Svahn and Jonna Sundling missed the final in the Bruksvallarna sprint.

They both broke the rack under their skis, but Jonna Sundling was surprised by the news about the teammate.

– Is Linn out too? This is how you can go, he says.

Linn Svahn, who won the sprint cup at the world cup last year, won qualifying and reached the semi-finals in the sprint at Bruksvallarna.

But there the favorite fell. He seemed to be struggling with support and couldn’t keep up with the rises.

After a weak start, the problems continued. SVT experts Anders Blomquist and Jacob Hård pointed out attachment problems directly.

– Linn doesn’t have any mounts, so she can use the technology diagonally, she says.

– It was an unexpected event when Linn Svahn had to work hard, says Jacob Hård.

Linn Svahn finished fourth in the semi-finals, which Moa Lundgren won against Emma Ribom, and left the goal area disappointed.

Sprint specialist Jonna Sundling also left, finishing fifth in her semi-final.

Therefore, he became a favorite in the difficult conditions at Bruksvallarna.

– It was surprising, but it is largely the difficult undertaking that kills Sundling and Svahn, says Anders Blomquist.

Jonna Sundling was pleased with the feel on the body, but agreed that they didn’t mark the bracket correctly.

– I don’t have such a good grip. But I overdosed in the prologue. It is skiing. You have to take that … he says after the race.

Anna Dyvik won the second semi-final against Maja Dahlqvist.

On the men’s side, the national team skier Johan Häggström also fell, who missed the final.
