The leader of the Christian Democrats party, Ebba Busch, is taking a dispute over the purchase of a house to court, Aftonbladet reports.

The disputed property is a plot on a lake outside of Uppsala. According to the KD leader, it has been nine weeks since he should have had access to the house he bought.

“I am very sad and sad that we are here, but I don’t see that I have any alternative but to let the court decide,” Busch told the newspaper.

After a purchase contract was signed and an advance paid, the owner, an 81-year-old man, repented, according to Expressen.

The KD leader believes that people with financial interests in the property have pressured the owner not to leave the house.

– A relative of his called me. It was an aggressive and threatening conversation in which it was made clear that I would be hanged in the national press if I did not back down, he tells the newspaper.
