Friday night in Ligue 1 featured a summit between Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain. And it was the guests who came forward after 25 minutes of play. Di Maria found Kylian Mbappé with a good deep pass, the Frenchman holding back the defender before he marvelously printed the 1-0 in the top corner.
Eight minutes before the break, Mbappé scored the second goal of the afternoon for himself and PSG when he scored the 2-0 from the penalty spot.

At seven minutes into the second half, Monaco drew through Kevin Volland from close range. 14 minutes later it was tied, when Volland himself made it 2-2 – also from close range.
And Monaco would make another bathtub.
The home team was sanctioned with a penalty ten minutes from the end of regulation time. Cesc Fabregas stepped forward and shot it 3-2 for the rojiblancos, which was also the final result.
The 3-2 victory puts Monaco at the top of Ligue 1. Monaco, who is second in the table, is now just four points behind PSG at the top.
