Shortly after 10 pm on Friday, several police patrols were alerted to Rinkeby in western Stockholm.
The police task force was also alerted to the scene and much of Rinkebystråket was cordoned off.
Carina Skagerlind from the Stockholm Police had little information, but was able to say at midnight:
– Someone is injured and needs to go by ambulance to the hospital. It is likely that the person was injured by some type of sting. There have been many people in the place.
Two people were arrested in connection with the scene and a preliminary investigation for attempted murder was launched.
There are many witnesses
At midnight, you can’t say anything about the gender or age of those involved. But she says:
– We have arrested two people who we see have some kind of involvement. But we will continue the work on site because we cannot rule out that more people are involved.
According to Carina Skagerlind, the incident occurred in a “public setting”.
– There were many witnesses at the scene who will be heard during the night.
