Ebba Busch is taking the dispute with Esbjörn, 81, to court.
The KD leader believes that people with financial interests are pressuring Esbjörn not to leave home.

The leader of the Christian Democracy party, Ebba Busch, has gone further today in the notorious dispute of the house and has sent a demand to the legal representative of Esbjörn.
– It’s been nine weeks since I had access to the house I bought. It’s been nine weeks of worry and insecurity about one of the most basic things: where my two children and I should live, says Ebba Busch.
The KD leader says she has tried to meet with Esbjörn to resolve the dispute. But lately he hasn’t been able to get there.
– I am very sad and saddened that we are here but I don’t see that I have any alternative but to let the court decide.

Stressful
The disputed house is located on a picturesque lake plot on the outskirts of Uppsala. Ebba Busch currently lives rented with her children in a house a few miles away. When Aftonbladet runs into her, she’s loading moving boxes onto a mesh trailer. He will be moving back in a few days and says he expects more moving loads before the dispute is resolved.
– I have tried to get this purchase so that my children can get closer to their two parents. That is the only thing that has driven me. It is clear that this has been a very stressful situation. Not knowing where I will live, that now we will move one more time and trying to explain to a three year old and a five year old why it will not be as expected.
Esbjörn no longer wants to sell his house. Why can’t you meet him?
– After we signed the purchase contract, I perceived Esbjörn satisfied and satisfied with the sale. We also had contact several times in the following weeks. My image is that it has changed after strong pressure from others. That image has been reinforced by everything that has been during the fall.

– As I understand it, there are several other people who have had very strong opinions that Esbjörn has decided to sell and who also have strong financial interests in this. The house is abandoned, it is small, there is no running water or sewage and there is much to do. But it still has a proud history. From what he has told me, and even my children, I have a hard time understanding that he has changed unless others have really pushed him.
You have said in interviews that you felt pressured to sell, have you pressured it?
– No. It was some friends of mine who contacted him first to see if he was interested in discussing a sale. When he opened it, I proceeded with caution and tried to do it in the right and proper way.
He says he tried to contact you but you made yourself unapproachable.
– That’s not true at all. They listened to us several times after distorting the deal. They saw us at the place of the house and we had coffee. I have worked hard to make him feel good after the sale.

– No, the first time I heard about this was two weeks after the contract was drawn up. Then we had seen the previous days in their place in the house, we talked about what had to be done, what original colors had been on the walls and what had to be done to try to save the house.

– It is clear that this has not been obvious. I don’t take it lightly. But it has been more than once that I have not been sure if the representative you have really represents the wishes of Esbjörn and Esbjörn, since several times it has referred to the opinions and interests of other people in this regard. So I wanted to know and hear this directly from Esbjörn.

Ebba Busch continues:
– They have threatened me and with a very threatening conversation they made it clear that they intend to dirty me in the media so that I refrain from this. It is difficult for me to see that I have to declare myself an outlaw and back down because they believe that completely false things can be said about me in the national press.
Esbjörn’s legal representative, Johann Binninge, has a couple of days before the lawsuit is sent to the district court. Ebba Busch’s hope is that he or Esbjörn will get in touch and start a dialogue.
Aftonbladet has contacted Esbjörn, who declines to comment. A woman who says that she defends him says that everything that is written in the newspapers is not true, but that she does not want to develop what she refers to.
– We do not want to comment on this, she says.
Esbjörn’s legal representative does not want to comment either.
