It is now clear that the sentence appealed. The man’s attorney, Kerstin Koorti, filed an appeal late Thursday afternoon, citing new evidence, including a report of the tournament incident where the harassment took place, which she claims contradicts some of the evidence cited during the proceedings of the district court.
“If the new evidence had been known to the district court, the district court would have reached an acquittal,” Koorti writes on appeal.
