But now the end of the road has been reached and Marie Lindström has decided to close the preliminary investigation.
– On the available investigative material, it is not possible to prove that the person who has been suspected has committed a crime. Further investigation cannot be assumed to change the state of evidence in a decisive way.
– There are no eyewitnesses to the incident. The two most important people we wanted to question have passed away and therefore it is not possible to prove what caused the incident. Thus, it is not possible to prove that the person who has been suspected has committed a crime, according to a press release.
