Frustration over Trump’s refusal to admit defeat is increasingly clear. At a press conference Thursday, incoming President Biden weighed his words carefully before answering the question of what he thought of Trump’s actions after the election, and the news that Trump had invited top Michigan politicians, possibly with the intention of getting help to change the result there.
This is another time when Trump will be remembered as one of the most irresponsible presidents in American history. It is not close to being within the norm and it is a question of whether it is even legal, he said and continued:
– It’s hard to understand how you think. I’m sure you know you haven’t won, you know you won’t be able to win and on January 20 we will be sworn.
Biden: it will cost many lives
Biden warned once again about the consequences if Trump continued to refuse to admit defeat, that the option not to share important information with him, such as fighting the coronavirus, would cost many lives.
– There is no excuse for not sharing data and let’s start planning. If we don’t get all the data, we’ll end up in a bad situation, which will take at least a month to repair. And that means human life. Who knows how many?
Biden also said he does not rule out suing the Trump administration for access to information that a future president should and needs access to, but he does not believe that is the most effective way.
The future president had previously said that he had chosen who would be the finance minister in the incoming administration, but that he would not reveal it yet.
