A drug center was hidden in the idyllic village of Norrland. Behind a basement lift ladder, the police found the men’s secret room.

The two childhood friends who sold at least 162,000 drug and medicine tablets are now being prosecuted.

– I have nothing to do with that shit, says a 37-year-old man.

According to the indictment in the Ångermanland District Court, two 37-year-old men have manufactured and sold drugs and medicine for five years on more than 3,000 occasions for at least 2.3 million SEK in a small pink house on a residential street. of the county of Västernorrland.

The men sold the products of the markets on the Darknet, including Fly Mushroom 3.0 and Dream Market. The money was exchanged for the cryptocurrency bitcoin to hide the crime.

Among other things, the chocolate-coated cannabis pieces sold for SEK 199 each. They were claimed to be suitable for “both the novice and professional smoker,” according to the Flugsvamp 3.0 ad:

– Beautiful chocolate pralines made with 56% finer variety chocolate. Chocolate does not contain gluten or nuts.

The lives of the two men have revolved around lucrative sales:

– The work week is beginning to draw to a close, but we are working harder than ever to deliver the whitest snow, they wrote in a chat in February 2020, which the police managed to decipher.

The basement was turned into a drug club.

Four days later, on February 11, both men were at the scene when the police attacked. During the house search, the men’s secret drug lab, which they had designed themselves, was revealed. The ceiling height was 160 centimeters and you have to crawl to the lab. From the police report:

– The hidden space is what served as a temperate basement for the previous owners of the house, says in the police report. Today, the original door of the space is no longer there, it is bricked up and XX has placed shelves where the old door used to be. Instead, two hinges have been mounted under the stairs to make it easier to lift them, and a hole has been made in the wall between the empty space under the stairs and the basement. This hole is today the only route to the now hidden space that served as a drug laboratory.

When the police question one of the 37-year-olds, he says the suspicions against him are “inconceivable.” He also says that he suffers from panic attacks. When asked what he does during the day, he says:

– I try to go out with the dog, that’s what I do.

The other 37-year-old is equally incomprehensible.

– I have nothing to do with shit, he says in a police questioning.

When asked what he did in the village when the police arrived, he replies:

– We’ve known each other since we were babies. I drank coffee at X’s and we walked around the lake with the dogs.

The police are very satisfied with the prosecution.

Both were charged Wednesday with a felony drug offense, a violation of the Drug Trade Act and a violation of the Pharmaceutical Products Act. In addition, a 41-year-old man has been charged with money laundering, a serious crime. He allegedly allowed the two men to use his account for monetary transactions.

– This has been an extensive investigation to which competent police resources from all over the country and especially from the North region have contributed. Together with prosecutors, we have carried out a thorough investigation, and we are very happy that the prosecution is now starting, says Police Inspector Maria Bååth at the TI National Crime Center at the National Operations Department (NOA) in a press release.
