Blekinge District Court sentences a 27-year-old man to prison for grossly illegal invasion of privacy and child pornography offenses. Stock Photography.
A 27-year-old man posted private photos of 14 young women on various porn sites. He is now sentenced to three months in prison for seriously illegal invasion of privacy and child pornography offenses, local media report.
Some of the photographs had been taken by the same 27-year-old, in other cases they were photographs that he had found in another way.
– Some images have received around twelve million clicks, and in some cases people can be identified. Some are even labeled with names, the assistant to the women’s plaintiff, Christer Holmqvist, previously told SVT Nyheter Blekinge.
The man is also convicted of having pictures of abused children on his computer.
According to the Blekinge District Court, the value of the sentence was actually higher, but the court has taken into account that it subsequently tried to remove some of the images. It is also said that he suffered from mental problems when the crimes were committed and is now in treatment.
The women receive a total of 124,000 SEK in damages.
