But Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson are ready to drive.

– I want to compete as much as possible, says Karlsson.

It’s a special season that awaits the cross country team. The World Cup competition in Lillehammer has already been canceled and much more is not yet clear.

However, the idea remains for the Tour de Ski to take place in Val Müstair, Switzerland and Toblach / Val di Fiemme, Italy.

– It feels very difficult to implement it with travel. They will probably have to change completely in that case, but I still don’t think I have driven this year, but I am completely investing in WC, says Oskar Svensson.

Neither Jonna Sundling nor Linn Svahn are planning to go on tour.

– What I think is that it is a World Cup season. I may be a bit naive, but I am fully prepared and determined to make it a World Cup. I almost have to have that attitude to do the work I do every day. That’s the main focus, says Svahn.

Sundling:

– Ski Tour, I intend to stop if they had asked me. Whether it had been a pandemic or not.

“It may not be relevant to omit”

Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson are more positive about the Tour de Ski and plan to go if it happens.

– It is important to be one hundred percent prepared when you are at the beginning. In the beginning they will be. Then they’ll label me a thousand. I know. So you have to be happy for the races you run and enjoy them, says Karlsson.

Halfvarsson Street, which has been plagued with illness problems and unsure of its form, has yet to make up its mind on the tour.

The thing is, now it seems like there will be a lot of races to be canceled, so maybe skipping is not relevant. But then it’s clear that on tour you might have liked to see some ideas of how they think of Fis. Should we be in the same place to avoid travel? But it’s up to Fis to make those decisions. I’m just determined to take each day as it comes. Right now I have to get in shape. What will be for competitions, it does not matter.
