Alleges Trump was at a disadvantage
Donald Trump and his attorney Rudolph W. Giuliani have previously said that more than 600,000 votes in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh should be thrown out because of this.
Instead, the focus of the revised vote is on allegations that the Republican Party has been at a disadvantage when voters in some parts of the state were allowed to make corrections to their ballots, writes the Washington Post.
“Theater, not real moods”
A lawyer working on the specific case on behalf of the Democratic Party says it is only a handful of votes, which may not have had any impact on the outcome of the elections in the state. One of Biden’s legal advisers has dismissed the lawsuit as “theater, not actual trials.”
The Cyber Security Department of the Department of Homeland Security, which works with national security, writes that “there is no evidence that the voting system has removed or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way under the influence.”
Among other things, the National Association of Secretaries of State, NASS, which oversees how elections are conducted and voting procedures in the states, signed the statement. In NASS, Secretaries of State from all states can be members.
“Modified electoral result”
On Sunday, Donald Trump tweeted that several of the previously filed lawsuits were not from his campaign.
“Our most important cases showing how the 2020 elections are contrary to the constitution and the scandalous things that were done to change the outcome will soon be presented,” Trump wrote.
The state of Pennsylvania is expected to present its final election results on November 23.
