Second consecutive victory.

Skellefteå has recovered from the slump and defeated Oskarshamn in extra time.

Skellefteå stopped Oskarshamn strong at home. The surprise team had four wins in a row in their own arena, but fell 2-3 in overtime tonight.

In a game where the guests opened the scoreboard. Oliver Larsen was careless with the puck behind the area, and Jesper Frödén went 1-0 with his 10th goal of the season, leading to a shared advantage in the shooting league.

Larsen got his revenge, and was the one later in the period tied 1-1. Danske backen’s first SHL goal.

The intermediate period is reminiscent of the first. The visiting team took the lead, this time through Joakim Berggren’s club, and once again Oskarshamn caught up with it. Now thanks to Jonas Engström, who masterfully pushed the record after an excellent performance from Filiph Engsund.

Hugg decided

The third time without goals, and the party to the extension. There Adam Wilsby stole the puck, his teammate Rickard Hugg was a couple of cuts in front of the opponents and achieved the free position.

– I got a good pass from Wilsby and he was completely free, I just tried to push him up and he went in, Rickard Hugg tells C More.

3-2 victory for Skellefteå, second in a row for the team that previously had five defeats in a row.

– It’s a bit sad that we don’t get three points, but two is always better than one, says Hugg.
