Suspected outbreaks affect entire groups of preschool staff

Entire groups of staff were sent home when Trelleborg and Ystad preschools were hit by virus outbreaks. The municipalities resolved the difficult situation in different ways. In Ystad, about 90 families were left without childcare. In Skegrie, on the outskirts of Trelleborg, the manager and alternates had to move to take the business outdoors.

Five staff members at the Slätten preschool in Skegrie, on the outskirts of Trelleborg, fell ill with covid-19 and another four felt ill at the end of last week. The decision was then made not to allow any of the staff to come to the preschool on Monday. Instead, the eight who were still healthy were allowed to work from home with administrative tasks.
