At 06:02, the police received an alarm that an ambulance had been robbed in Varberg. Several police patrols were deployed in search of the vehicle, which could be traced to Falkenberg and Halmstad.
The circumstances surrounding the attack are currently unclear according to police, who say it may be service personnel driving the vehicle.
– For 20 minutes we have worked with a stolen ambulance and we had several units in it. But since June 24, we have received confirmation from the command center that it is the service personnel who are driving the car. I have no further information about it. The command center has alerted the police via sos. Someone said the car was stolen, so I have to refer to the ambulance in Varberg about how it happened, says Stefan Gustafsson, a police press spokesman.
