Anxiety and anger after corona breakout in a Limhamn dementia home

The Victoria Nursing Home and Nursing Home in Limhamn was hit hard by a corona outbreak this fall.

Jeanette Arkemyr says that after learning of the widespread spread of the infection, she reported the accommodation to the police for violation of the Infection Control Act and reported it to Ivo.

The father died in the crown suites

During the past week, Patrik Hedlund’s father, who has lived in the accommodation since 2018, passed away in the covid-19 suites. Along with another relative of his father, Patrik says he also informed Ivo about the accommodation.

He is critical of his father’s care and treatment when deficiencies have been pointed out to him.

– What matters are the old and the weak, he says.

Another source of transparency is very critical of the hygiene of the accommodation in Limhamn.

– I’m very worried. Staff clothing is washed along with residents clothing and staff do not have private lockers. There are staff who have brought work shoes home. It is unsanitary.
