Here the players are forced to leave the ice.
The team warmed up on ice.
Then Almtuna got an answer to the covid test.
According to information from Sportbladet, 13 players have tested positive and the match against Timrå has been postponed.
Almtuna had five players out due to illness and injury, but was ready for home games against Timrå. The club communicated the line-up and everything seemed to be going as usual.
The players were even on the ice and warmed up. But just minutes before the fall, Almtuna received a response to the coronation test this morning.
“So damn boring”
Up to 13 players showed positive results and the match against Timrå was postponed.
– We tested all the players this morning and now we get the message. Very boring, says Almtuna sports director Björn Danielsson.
Timrå had to go home again.
– It is clear that it is very boring. Safety comes first and we follow the directives that have been set, but of course it’s boring, says Timrå club director Johan Torines.
“Hard right now”
Do you have any concerns now that your players were on the ice with Almtuna?
– There is no more worry after this than before. It’s difficult right now and it’s important to follow the guidelines that have been set, but nothing changes because of this, says Torines.
Several teams in allsvenskan hockey have had crown drops this week. AIK has stopped its operations and Tingsryd and Väsby have also been affected. At Vita Hästen, activity has stopped as several staff members have shown symptoms.
