It was a person with a connection to a nearby property who alerted police that the body was in a bush.
The deceased has been identified as a Lithuanian man in his 35s. Police suspect that he has been in the bush for a long time.
Technical examination
When they arrived at the scene, the police could not rule out a crime and immediately classified the incident as murder.
– This opens up the opportunity for us, among other things, to call the technicians to the site, says preliminary investigation leader Andreas Hermann.
Even after technical investigation, it could not be ruled out that there was a crime behind the death. Barricades have been erected at the site.
The police want tips
The police are now awaiting the results of the autopsy.
– Meanwhile, we do some checks so we don’t miss anything. And if anyone has any information about what may have happened, we gratefully accept it, says Andreas Hermann.

There is no indication that the man had a family in Sweden. The police have not yet contacted the Lithuanian authorities.
– We have not had time. But that’s one of the things that will be done, says Andreas Hermann.
