COPENHAGEN. Janne Andersson has suffered from a crown.

Therefore, he misses the entire collection.

– Janne is relatively well, he is still isolated at home, says the team doctor, Anders Valentin.

Today came the news that the captain of the national team, Janne Andersson, tested positive for covid-19.

Since the end of last week he has been in home quarantine in Lidingö since a close family member tested positive for COVID-19 and has therefore not been able to participate in the ongoing collection.

It was already clear that he would miss tonight’s game against Denmark. He would also be suspended in the Nations League game against Croatia on Saturday.

Jacobsson takes the step on the bench

After Andersson was tested again on Tuesday, news came today that the test was positive and thus the Nations League final against France in Paris is also missed.

– Janne is doing relatively well, still isolated at home, but will not be able to join this collection, says national team doctor Anders Valentin in a press release.

Therefore, Peter Wettergren will lead the team in all three international matches. For his help on the bench, he receives Lasse Jacobsson, who is normally protected by opponents.
